West Memorial Place I & II
In the center of Houston’s Energy Corridor, located on 12 acres, now sits two LEED-Platinum certified buildings, West Memorial Place One and West Memorial Place Two. The first building began construction in early 2014 and now stands 12-floors at 331,000 square feet, while the second building began construction in early 2015 and now stands 14-floors at 385,000 square feet. These Class A buildings were built to create an optimal balance of cost, environmental, societal and human benefits to meet the functional requirements of a livable office setting. Skanska spared no expense when creating these buildings. From the daylight harvesting and motion detection systems in the garages, to the energy –efficient glass and stone exterior, these building are to consume 30% less energy than typical baseline buildings. Not only do these buildings have incredibly unique characteristics in the build, they also have an irreplaceable location. The West Memorial campus is adjacent to Terry Hershey Park Hike and Bike Trails, where employees have the leisure of enjoying both throughout the day.
